Eriskay is a small island off the tip of South Uist, Outer Hebrides. Lise Bech and Kate Sankey made two creels reconstructed from an original Eriskay creel. This creel was a 20 stake creel and had a simple mouthwale start as in the ones made by Donald MacDonald of Gisla shown in the how to make video . The Eriskay creel has the second stakes placed to the left of the first and then taken in front of that original stake and bent over with a
rounded corner. This is like the one shown here in the Highland Folk Museum from the Isle of Harris.
